Youth Empowerment Group's Mission

To support youth mental health, relationship and educational success, self-esteem, safety, and equality by developing and implementing motivational, practical life-skill education that enables thriving amidst today’s challenges.

 

Impact: 

Fifty-five 5th grade girls were served in our Windsor pilot program

Girls' participant survey results:

  • 96% indicated they had fun or a lot of fun

  • 95% thought what they learned would make a positive impact on their lives

  • 94% found the sessions to be helpful or very helpful

  • 89% said they would probably or definitely recommend the program to friends

  • 87% indicated on daily surveys that they would use something they learned
